Furniture Stores in Lawton, OK: Home Zone Furniture
)
Home Zone Furniture is a current Lawton option at 301 NW 67th St, with furniture for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, offices, outdoor spaces, mattresses, and accents. Its official Lawton store page lists local delivery, financing, and showroom shopping, making it useful for comparing several room categories in one visit.
The store lists hours of 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6:00 p.m. Sunday. Home Zone also says some furniture is stocked for quick pickup, although availability varies by item.
If you want to compare a sofa, dining set, bedroom furniture, mattress, and home accents without traveling between several specialty shops, Home Zone’s broad selection is its clearest advantage. Delivery timing and fees can vary, so include those costs when comparing your final total.
Deep Discount Furniture & Mattress: Value-Focused Shopping
Deep Discount Furniture & Mattress has a Lawton business presence listed at 30 NW Sheridan Road. Its Lawton business page has advertised mattresses, bedroom sets, dining furniture, sofas, loveseats, sectionals, storage pieces, and other household furniture.
Current local listings show hours of 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 5:00 p.m. Sunday. However, there is an important research note: the chain’s main locations page currently lists Oklahoma City under Oklahoma but does not list Lawton.
The Deep Discount Furniture & Mattress website advertises financing and no-credit-needed purchase options through financial partners including Synchrony and Acima. The original article’s specific mattress prices, bedroom-set prices, and $1-down claim could not be confirmed from the current official site, so they have been removed.
For budget shopping, compare the complete delivered price, not only the advertised furniture price. Financing, lease-to-own terms, delivery charges, and product availability can change the real cost considerably.
Darby’s Big Furniture: Custom Furniture and Delivery
Darby’s Big Furniture is at 6746 NW Cache Rd in Lawton and carries furniture for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, offices, outdoor spaces, and children’s rooms, along with mattresses and home décor. Its official services page also confirms custom furniture, delivery, setup, and haul-away services.
Custom Design Services Offered
Darby’s custom service is useful when an off-the-floor piece does not quite match your room. The store says shoppers can choose from upholstery, wood finishes, and decorative details, with available customization depending on the furniture and manufacturer.
| Room Type | Furniture Options | Customization or Selection |
|---|---|---|
| Living Room | Sofas, chairs, recliners, sectionals | Upholstery, finishes, decorative details on eligible pieces |
| Bedroom | Beds, dressers, nightstands | Finish and material choices vary by manufacturer |
| Dining Area | Tables, seating, cabinets | Wood finishes and vendor options vary |
| Office | Desks, chairs, bookcases | Style and finish options depend on the item |
| Outdoor | Seating, tables, furniture sets | Selection depends on the current catalog |
Personalized Furniture Solutions
Custom furniture makes the most sense when dimensions, upholstery, or finishes matter more than taking a piece home immediately. Before ordering, confirm the final dimensions, fabric or finish selection, expected delivery process, and whether a customized product has different return conditions from an in-stock piece.
Darby’s also lists customer pickup and furniture setup. Its delivery service includes setup when you choose store delivery, which can be particularly helpful with large sectionals, bedroom pieces, or dining furniture.
Delivery and Style Options
Darby’s current catalog spans traditional, transitional, contemporary, and other furniture styles rather than limiting shoppers to one look. The store also advertises customizable products from multiple manufacturers, so the exact combination of fabric, leather, trim, finish, or hardware depends on the piece.
One practical advantage is delivery coverage. Darby’s says it provides free delivery within its trade area up to 55 miles from its store locations; deliveries beyond that area may involve a fee. That makes delivery distance worth comparing before choosing between otherwise similar pieces.
Kimbro Furniture: The Lawton Store Has Closed
Kimbro Furniture should no longer be presented as an active Lawton recommendation. A September 2, 2025 report on the retirement closure, citing the store’s own announcement, said the owners planned to sell remaining inventory and close; current business data marks the location permanently closed.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Current Status | Permanently closed |
| Former Location | 1303 NE 75th St, Lawton, OK 73507 |
| Closure Announcement | 2025 retirement and closing sale |
| Former Specialty | Furniture, including Amish furniture |
| Shopping Guidance | Do not plan a current shopping trip to this location |
Kimbro’s long local history explains why it still appears in older furniture-store directories and search results. For a current guide, however, keeping it in the main list without a closure warning would send readers to a store that is no longer operating.
Eclectic Echo and Company: A Nearby Duncan Consignment Option
Eclectic Echo and Company is not in Lawton; it is at 920 W Main St in Duncan, Oklahoma. The Made in Oklahoma program describes the shop as a 20,000-square-foot space in a building constructed in 1906, with vintage, used, and new furniture, accessories, gifts, and Made in Oklahoma products.
This makes Eclectic Echo a better fit for shoppers who want consignment pieces, vintage furniture, antiques, or one-of-a-kind décor rather than a conventional new-furniture showroom. Oklahoma tourism information also describes it as an upscale furniture consignment gallery with antiques, furnishings, lamps, mirrors, and accessories.
Because consignment inventory changes as pieces are sold and new items arrive, a specific sofa, table, or antique may not remain available for long. That changing selection is part of the appeal if you prefer individual pieces over matching mass-produced collections.
Eastern Treasures: Wichita Falls, Not Lawton
Eastern Treasures should not be described as a Lawton furniture store. Regional listings associate it with 620 Ohio Ave in Wichita Falls, Texas, and describe a specialty in Chinese country antiques, furniture, accessories, and gifts. A current downtown Wichita Falls directory also lists Eastern Treasures at that address.
Unique Antique Finds
The store has historically been associated with Chinese country antiques and decorative pieces rather than ordinary mass-market furniture. That makes the original description relevant to antique shoppers, but not as evidence of a current Lawton furniture destination.
| Detail | What the Research Shows | Shopping Status |
|---|---|---|
| Location | 620 Ohio Ave, Wichita Falls, TX 76301 | Not in Lawton |
| Specialty | Chinese country antiques, furniture, accessories, and gifts | Specialty antique focus |
| Current Operation | No usable official store website was confirmed during research | Verify before making a dedicated trip |
The original price ranges for furniture, décor, and collectibles have been removed because current prices could not be verified from an official source.
Vintage Decor Highlights
If your goal is distinctive vintage décor rather than a complete new living-room or bedroom set, the Chinese antique specialty may be more relevant than a conventional furniture showroom. These pieces can work as individual accents alongside newer furniture without requiring an entire room to follow one style.
For a Lawton-only shopping guide, though, Eastern Treasures belongs in an out-of-town note rather than the main list of local stores.
H&H Furniture: Listed in Altus, Not Lawton
H&H Furniture is another store that should not be labeled as being in Lawton. A current manufacturer dealer directory lists H&H Furniture at 1200 N Grady in Altus, Oklahoma, with phone number 580-482-5100.
Older regional directories describe H&H as carrying furniture and mattresses, but its Altus address is the important detail for this article. Shoppers building a strictly Lawton itinerary should therefore exclude it from their local stops.
If you are willing to travel around southwest Oklahoma, an Altus store may still be relevant. Just compare the extra driving distance with what you can find at the verified Lawton stores before making a separate trip.
How to Choose the Right Furniture Store in Lawton
The right store depends on whether you care most about selection, price, customization, consignment finds, or delivery. Before buying, compare the complete purchase rather than judging a store only by the first price tag you see.
- Confirm the store location and status. Older directories can keep closed or out-of-town businesses in Lawton search results, as the Kimbro, Eastern Treasures, and H&H examples show.
- Measure the room and access path. Record the usable floor space plus doorway, hallway, stairway, and elevator dimensions before ordering a large sofa, sectional, table, or bed.
- Compare the delivered total. Add delivery, setup, financing or lease costs, and any other required charges before deciding which offer costs less overall.
- Ask whether the exact piece is in stock. A showroom sample does not always mean the same size, finish, or configuration is ready for immediate pickup or delivery.
- Understand custom-order terms. For customized furniture, confirm dimensions, fabric or finish, expected fulfillment process, and return conditions before placing the order.
- Test comfort and construction in person. Sit on sofas and chairs, open drawers and doors, inspect seams and finishes, and check whether the furniture feels stable before committing.
Pro Tip: Take room measurements and a few photos with you. They make it easier to judge scale, color, doorway clearance, and whether a piece will work with furniture you already own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Furniture Store Has the Highest Quality Furniture?
There is no single store that automatically has the highest-quality furniture in every category. Compare frame construction, materials, hardware, upholstery, warranties, and how the floor model feels; Darby’s is especially relevant if customization matters, while Home Zone offers a broad selection to compare.
Where Is the Best Place to Get Discount Furniture?
Deep Discount Furniture & Mattress is the value-focused option in this article, but the cheapest choice depends on the exact item and current inventory. Compare the final delivered price, payment terms, construction, and warranty rather than assuming the lowest advertised price is automatically the best deal.
What Furniture Brands Do Wealthy People Use?
There is no universal furniture brand used by wealthy households. Premium buyers may choose brands such as RH, B&B Italia, Poltrona Frau, and Knoll, but custom work, antiques, designer pieces, and personal taste can matter as much as the brand name.
Is Ethan Allen High-End Furniture?
Ethan Allen is generally positioned above mass-market furniture and offers extensive design and customization options. Whether you consider it high-end depends on what you compare it with, because the furniture market ranges from inexpensive ready-made pieces to bespoke luxury furniture.
Is Kimbro Furniture Still Open in Lawton?
No. Kimbro Furniture announced its retirement and closing process in 2025, and current business data lists the Lawton location as permanently closed, so it should not be included as an active furniture-shopping stop.
Conclusion
For a current Lawton furniture-shopping trip, focus first on Home Zone Furniture, Deep Discount Furniture & Mattress, and Darby’s Big Furniture, then consider Eclectic Echo in Duncan if consignment or vintage pieces fit your plans. Most importantly, separate active Lawton stores from old directory listings so you can spend your time comparing furniture instead of driving to the wrong location.
